Hamid Adjani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Mohamed Boumedienne made a huge save. Fateh Menguellet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fateh Menguellet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Mahmoud Mesbah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Fateh Menguellet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Hocine Cherfa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pocatello AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hocine Cherfa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mahmoud Mesbah breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hocine Cherfa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahmoud Mesbah having to interfere. Mahmoud Mesbah didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fateh Menguellet went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Chadli Schoonmaker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Mahmoud Mesbah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Tayeb Radjef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Sugar Land's Tayeb Radjef in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pocatello AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 63 minutes, Fateh Menguellet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pocatello AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fateh Menguellet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hamid Adjani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Boumedienne having to interfere. If Fateh Menguellet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sugar Land's Mahmoud Mesbah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hocine Cherfa in the 74th minute of play. Hocine Cherfa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mahmoud Mesbah having to make a save. Hamid Adjani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toufik Camus kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 87 minutes into the game, Hocine Metref was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sugar Land's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pocatello AFC the free kick. A collision led to Sugar Land getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Hocine Metref hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Tayeb Radjef got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Hamid Adjani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sugar Land fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. When the match was over Pocatello AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sugar Land throughout the match.
