Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mohammad Kafi started the match with the kick off. Abdelaziz Fadela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Kearney FC's Abdelaziz Fadela sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Safy Bencheikh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 11 minutes of play, Kearney FC's Abdelaziz Fadela made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Safy Bencheikh was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fawzi Mammeri in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdelmalek Bouguerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Kearney FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Marlborough:s goal. Fawzi Mammeri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Abdelmalek Bouguerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mahmoud Sofiane's late challenge caught a Marlborough's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mahmoud Sofiane helped the player get up and apologised. Abdelmalek Bouguerra came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Marlborough's Fawzi Mammeri. But to his dismay, Fawzi Mammeri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Safy Bencheikh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nasreddine Ziani in the 35th minute of play. Fawzi Mammeri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Mohammad Kafi came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Marlborough fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohammad Kafi couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Mohammad Kafi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mohammad Kafi hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Abdelmalek Bouguerra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fawzi Mammeri in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abdelaziz Fadela to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Fawzi Mammeri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marlborough's supporters rose to their feet, but Fawzi Mammeri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdelmalek Bouguerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abdelmalek Bouguerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohammad Kafi in the 55th minute of the match. Safy Bencheikh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdelaziz Fadela's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After 75 minutes Kearney FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ali Soltani who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Ali Soltani almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kearney FC's Abdelmalek Bouguerra did a great save. In the 75th minute Benamar Meskine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelmalek Bouguerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nasreddine Ziani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Safy Bencheikh having to interfere. Rachid Sadaoui hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After 93 played minutes, Marlborough's Ali Soltani shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abdelmalek Bouguerra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marlborough reached it. Mohammad Kafi scored 3-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdelmalek Bouguerra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Marlborough had won after a very even match.
