The referee showed Lakhdar Amirouche the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Knightstown AFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Abd al-Aziz Temmam hit a great ball. Rafik Adjani was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 11th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ben Chaib sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Said Assad kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Ben Chaib blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nadir Kraouche having to make a save. 21 minutes into the match, Ben Chaib notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Seymour's Nadir Kraouche. Nadir Kraouche was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rabah Sifi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Soltani Moussa having to interfere. Ben Chaib's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nadir Kraouche read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Rabah Sifi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Soltani Moussa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Soltani Moussa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustapha Madjer in the 36th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Rabah Sifi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Soltani Moussa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Nadir Kraouche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Farid Feraoun in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Ben Chaib had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Soltani Moussa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rabah Sifi's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Mustapha Madjer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nadir Kraouche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Farid Feraoun, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Ben Chaib managed to get in a good position for a shot. Knightstown AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ben Chaib was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nadir Kraouche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the match, Seymour's goalkeeper Nadir Kraouche had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ben Chaib. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Nadir Kraouche successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ben Chaib in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nadir Kraouche, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Farid Feraoun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ben Chaib sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yazid Cixous's late challenge caught a Knightstown AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
