Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Beechwood's Smail Mamouni started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Lakhdar Bey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tayeb Khaled saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Houari Bezzaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute Noureddine Madouni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tayeb Khaled saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tayeb Khaled made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamid Seghiri in the 8th minute of play. Lakhdar Nasro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rachid Lemoui in the 10th minute. Tayeb Khaled didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Noureddine Madouni went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Tayeb Khaled made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamid Seghiri in the 18th minute of play. Karim Madouni's late challenge caught a Alexis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karim Madouni helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes Beechwood got a freekick which was hit by Karim Madouni. In the 22nd minute, Smail Mamouni reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lakhdar Nasro. The goal made the score 1-1. Noureddine Madouni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Tayeb Khaled tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lakhdar Bey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tayeb Khaled showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noureddine Madouni in the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Ali Ouyahia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alexis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beechwood the free kick. After 32 played minutes Alexis got a freekick which was hit by Ali Ouyahia. In the 33rd minute, Houari Bezzaz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Alexis's Lakhdar Nasro didn't even have to move. A collision led to Alexis getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Rachid El-Hadi hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Beechwood's Smail Mamouni slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lakhdar Nasro. That made the score 2-1 after 35 minutes of play. Hamid Seghiri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute, Lakhdar Bey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Alexis's Cherif Touhami got a free kick in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Smail Mamouni in the 47th minute of play forced Alexis's goalkeeper Lakhdar Nasro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The audience was convinced that Noureddine Madouni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tayeb Khaled was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Tayeb Khaled made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Hamid Seghiri sent off a good shot on target. Tayeb Khaled made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Lakhdar Bey sent off a good shot on target. After 62nd play minutes Lakhdar Bey shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Tayeb Khaled and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lakhdar Bey in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tayeb Khaled saved Beechwood from getting behind. Alexis's Lakhdar Nasro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Smail Mamouni in the 69th minute of play. Tayeb Khaled showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lakhdar Bey in the 71st minute of the match. Tayeb Khaled stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lakhdar Bey's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Hamid Seghiri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Tayeb Khaled made a huge save. Karim Madouni hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Hamid Seghiri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Tayeb Khaled tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamid Seghiri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tayeb Khaled having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Alexis's Tayeb Khaled threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lakhdar Bey, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lakhdar Bey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Beechwood booed when Alexis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lakhdar Bey didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute Noureddine Madouni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tayeb Khaled saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Beechwood's zone, Hamid Seghiri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tayeb Khaled came out of the goal and Hamid Seghiri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd of the match, Noureddine Madouni tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Tayeb Khaled got in the way and made a wonderful save. With a little luck, Beechwood's Tayeb Khaled got control of the ball when Mohamed Harkat tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Rachid Lemoui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beechwood's supporters rose to their feet, but Rachid Lemoui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lakhdar Nasro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexis's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Beechwood had won, even though Alexis had held more of the ball.
