The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Wharton FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Lakhdar Madjer hit a great ball. North Belle Vernon's Nassim Nabil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halim Bouzid in the 10th minute of play. Nadir Zitouni's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Abdelkader Amirouche skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Wharton FC's Lakhdar Madjer got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rdth minute of the game Karim Madani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wharton FC's Abdelkader Amirouche was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wharton FC's Abdelkader Amirouche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Wharton FC from getting a goal against them. 29 minutes into the match, Wharton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Madani came free, but Abdelkader Amirouche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdelkader Amirouche made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nadir Zitouni in the 30th minute. After some careless play in the North Belle Vernon defense, Halim Bouzid kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nassim Nabil. The North Belle Vernon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nassim Nabil should have stopped the shot. Nassim Nabil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nouredine Kafi in the 42nd minute of the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Karim Madani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Belle Vernon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karim Madani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Nouredine Kafi made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Karim Madani managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Belle Vernon's supporters rose to their feet, but Karim Madani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdelkader Amirouche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 54 minutes, Karim Madani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Belle Vernon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karim Madani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nouredine Kafi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nassim Nabil having to interfere. Billel Gaouaoui kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. When Hocine Zerguelaine fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored North Belle Vernon's protests and gave Hocine Zerguelaine a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes North Belle Vernon got a freekick which was hit by Hocine Zerguelaine. North Belle Vernon's Nassim Nabil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nouredine Kafi in the 74th minute of play. Nassim Nabil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Halim Bouzid in the 79th minute. Abdelkader Amirouche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karim Madani, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Nadir Zitouni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Nadir Zitouni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The North Belle Vernon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Madani in the 94th minute of play forced Wharton FC's goalkeeper Abdelkader Amirouche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nassim Nabil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nouredine Kafi, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The North Belle Vernon supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Wharton FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Wharton FC.
