Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Tedj Bessou started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Lake Helen booed when Calumet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelkader Cohen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Lake Helen's Mohammad Kaci Benaouf got a free kick in the 14th minute. Adalbert Bozhichkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cheikha Sadi in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tedj Bessou in the 19th minute of play forced Calumet's goalkeeper Fawzi Amirouche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fawzi Amirouche made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Abderraouf Djeziri sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st match minute, Calumet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamid Oussar to maneuver through the defense. Tedj Bessou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fawzi Amirouche having to interfere. Abdelkader Cohen hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Calumet's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Abderraouf Djeziri fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Lake Helen's Adalbert Bozhichkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yazid Boniche in the 32nd minute of play. In the 40th minute of the match Lake Helen got a corner. Calumet's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mohammad Kaci Benaouf ran over to the corner to take the kick. Adalbert Bozhichkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cheikha Sadi in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Cheikha Sadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56thth minute of the game Yazid Boniche who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lake Helen's Adalbert Bozhichkov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cheikha Sadi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Adalbert Bozhichkov made a huge save. When Cheikha Sadi came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Calumet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cheikha Sadi couldn't finish the play. Yazid Boniche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Adalbert Bozhichkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cheikha Sadi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yazid Boniche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adalbert Bozhichkov made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Cheikha Sadi sent off a good shot on target. If Yazid Boniche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yazid Boniche in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adalbert Bozhichkov saved Lake Helen from getting behind. 91 minutes into the game, Abdelkader Cohen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calumet's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lake Helen the free kick. In the 91st match minute, Calumet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelkader Cohen to maneuver through the defense. Fawzi Amirouche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abderraouf Djeziri in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96th minute, Abderraouf Djeziri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fawzi Amirouche was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0.
