After 14 minutes, Slimane Kheyari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bishop FC and the Coalinga FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abdellah Medjadi Benzine showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Bishop FC booed when Coalinga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mebarek Aarache didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdulhamid Mesbah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodil Brahami having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Coalinga FC's Cherif Morceli got a free kick in the 40th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abdulhamid Mesbah made a kick off. Mohamed Hamdoud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Fodil Brahami tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Mohamed Hamdoud ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodil Brahami was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After having played for 63 minutes, Kamel Labi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coalinga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kamel Labi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mohamed Hamdoud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 72 minutes, Mohamed Hamdoud managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bishop FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mohamed Hamdoud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abdellah Medjadi Benzine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mebarek El-Hadi, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute of the match, Kamel Labi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Abdellah Medjadi Benzine was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Bishop FC's Abdellah Medjadi Benzine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mebarek El-Hadi in the 78th minute of play. Abdellah Medjadi Benzine had in the 87thth minute some difficulties stopping Cherif Morceli's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Bishop FC's goalkeeper Abdellah Medjadi Benzine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kamel Labi. The referee felt a red card was in order, 97 minutes into the game, when Ferhat Iles put in a rough tackle. In the 99th minute, Coalinga FC got a penalty, and Cherif Morceli placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. The Coalinga FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
