The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abdulhamid Mesbah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute Abdulhamid Mesbah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Madjid Abdenouz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Abdulhamid Mesbah took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Madjid Abdenouz to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Madhi Hamdani in the 15th minute of play forced Bishop FC's goalkeeper Abdellah Medjadi Benzine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdulhamid Mesbah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdellah Medjadi Benzine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Zidane, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Abdulhamid Mesbah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Madjid Abdenouz having to interfere. Bishop FC's Mohamed Hamdoud got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hocine Madouni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mohamed Hamdoud got free with Madjid Abdenouz in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Central AFC's zone, Mohamed Hamdoud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Madjid Abdenouz came out of the goal and Mohamed Hamdoud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdulhamid Mesbah stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Madjid Abdenouz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdulhamid Mesbah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mounir Yahia during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Central AFC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Mounir Yahia hit a great ball. Abdellah Medjadi Benzine made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Madhi Hamdani sent off a good shot on target. Ali Zidane struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Abdellah Medjadi Benzine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Central AFC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Madhi Hamdani got free with Abdellah Medjadi Benzine in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Central AFC's zone, Abdulhamid Mesbah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Madjid Abdenouz came out of the goal and Abdulhamid Mesbah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Ali Zidane put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Abdellah Medjadi Benzine. 81 minutes into the match, Bishop FC's goalkeeper Abdellah Medjadi Benzine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Madhi Hamdani. Madhi Hamdani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Abdellah Medjadi Benzine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bishop FC's Mohamed Hamdoud suffered a sore thigh after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abdelaziz Zéroual during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Bishop FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
