The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 7 minutes, Alain Kouri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Koror's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alain Kouri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rachid Baba Ali Djebbour blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fadhil Moussa having to make a save. When Koror's Hemza Mohand in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rancho Murieta's goalie prevented a goal. Hemza Mohand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Faouzi Abrika tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Abd al-Aziz Fanon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Rancho Murieta getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Abd al-Aziz Fanon hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hemza Mohand in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faouzi Abrika prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alain Kouri who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Faouzi Abrika when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Faouzi Abrika showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hemza Mohand, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Camel Mansouri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Koror's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camel Mansouri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 48th minute, Rancho Murieta's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hemza Mohand fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maamar Lacen made a kick off. Fadhil Moussa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maamar Lacen, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Rancho Murieta's goal looked a bit too open when Alain Kouri came free, but Faouzi Abrika reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute Maamar Lacen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fadhil Moussa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Koror booed when Rancho Murieta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abd al-Aziz Fanon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jean-Michel Bahari took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Faouzi Abrika. Rancho Murieta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hemza Mohand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Faouzi Abrika tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maamar Lacen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fadhil Moussa came out and tried to block the shot, but Maamar Lacen slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 72nd minute. Ali Meriem scored 1-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Faouzi Abrika, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hemza Mohand struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Faouzi Abrika didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Koror. After 85 played minutes Rancho Murieta got a freekick which was hit by Amar Djebar. After a defensive mix-up in Koror's zone, Maamar Lacen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fadhil Moussa came out of the goal and Maamar Lacen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Koror's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Maamar Lacen scored to the left of an out of position Fadhil Moussa, making the score, 1-2.
