Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rachid Benida got the match started through his kick off. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind North Seekonk's goalkeeper Meziane Rimitti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Sid Mezdad managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Seekonk's supporters rose to their feet, but Sid Mezdad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Larbi Doutté breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cheb Belaout received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Larbi Doutté tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kamel El-Ouafi during the 29th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sid Mezdad was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Rachid Benida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Meziane Rimitti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abd al-Asis Bougherra in the 55th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Rachid Benida cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0.
