In the 5th minute Kasdi Azzizi-Kettab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lakhdar Souakri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Kennebunk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Salah Dahleb should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute, Mouloud Cohen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salah Dahleb was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Mouloud Cohen came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Village fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mouloud Cohen couldn't finish the play. Abderrachid Harkat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Kennebunk:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Village:s goal. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Village. Ahmed Zéroual stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Salah Dahleb. 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abderrachid Harkat to strike the kick off in the second half. Abderrachid Harkat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 minutes of play, Village's Mouloud Cohen made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Salah Dahleb was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kennebunk's Souad Ouadah pulled a muscle in his leg after 64 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karim Saïfi during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Village getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Karim Saïfi hit a great ball. 67 minutes in the game, Mouloud Cohen fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Salah Dahleb having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Village's Billel Boudjedra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Salah Dahleb. That made the score 0-5 after 68 minutes of play. When Village's Mouloud Cohen in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kennebunk's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Village getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Billel Boudjedra hit a great ball. The Kennebunk supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Village's performance. The match ended with a win for Village.
