Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fodil Asma started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hocine Touhami in the 7th minute of play forced Village's goalkeeper Lakhdar Souakri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fodil Asma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Lakhdar Souakri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Village booed when St. Albans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chadli Bencheikh didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Fodil Asma managed to get in a good position for a shot. St. Albans's supporters rose to their feet, but Fodil Asma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lakhdar Souakri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Village's Ferhat Zarabi got a free kick in the 22nd minute. If Hocine Touhami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lakhdar Souakri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hocine Touhami in the 30th minute of play. Billel Boudjedra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lakhdar Souakri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hocine Touhami's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Lakhdar Souakri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fodil Asma in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Village's Ahmed Zéroual couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for St. Albans. 57 minutes into the match, Village's Mouloud Cohen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adlène Achiou narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 57 played minutes St. Albans got a freekick which was hit by Chadli Bencheikh. After having played for 59 minutes, Mouloud Cohen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Village's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mouloud Cohen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Village's Mouloud Cohen in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye St. Albans's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fodil Asma in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lakhdar Souakri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mouloud Cohen struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Adlène Achiou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Village. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mouloud Cohen in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adlène Achiou saved St. Albans from getting behind. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
