Kennebunk's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Fodil Asma scored to the left of an out of position Salah Dahleb, making the score, 2-1. Salah Dahleb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fodil Asma, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Fodil Asma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fodil Asma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Salah Dahleb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kasdi Azzizi-Kettab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fodil Asma stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Hocine Touhami made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Kennebunk's Salah Dahleb tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Abderrachid Harkat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adlène Achiou having to interfere. Chadli Bencheikh was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, St. Albans's Chadli Bencheikh got a free kick in the 83rd minute. When Hocine Touhami came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the St. Albans fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hocine Touhami couldn't finish the play.
