The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Ismaïl Belkheir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Sheldon AFC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Salim Mehenni hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Lewistown's goal looked a bit too open when Salim Mehenni came free, but Ahmed Kader reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Madhi Hamruche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmed Kader saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 played minutes Lewistown got a freekick which was hit by Amine Abdenouz. Ismaïl Belkheir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdellah Medjadi Saïdi-Sief having to interfere. Ahmed Kader showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Madhi Hamruche in the 26th minute of the match. Ahmed Kader took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Madhi Hamruche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Madhi Hamruche notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lewistown's Ahmed Kader. Ahmed Kader was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Khalida Harkat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmed Kader having to make a save. Lewistown's Ahmed Kader played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khalida Harkat in the 33rd minute of play. Ahmed Kader showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Madhi Hamruche, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Lewistown's Ahmed Kader played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Madhi Hamruche in the 41st minute of play. With a little luck, Sheldon AFC's Abdellah Medjadi Saïdi-Sief got control of the ball when Ismaïl Belkheir tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Ahmed Kader made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Madhi Hamruche in the 62nd minute of play. Madhi Hamruche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a left leg Ahmed Kader saved Lewistown from getting behind. Madhi Hamruche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ahmed Kader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sheldon AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
