The supporters of Day Heights FC booed when FC FAMAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelmalek Boulahfane didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo Ibar was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Smail Menad. Arnaldo Ibar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Djamal Boulahfane, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Antoine Fadela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mebarek Mami having to interfere. In the 31st minute Rachid Iles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Ibar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Djamal Boulahfane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Arnaldo Ibar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Day Heights FC's Arnaldo Ibar threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Djamal Boulahfane, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. FC FAMAS's Nelson Dufaud got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yasmina Lamine kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Mouloud Mhenni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Arnaldo Ibar made a huge save. Ahmed Kheyari was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 45 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Nelson Dufaud got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mouloud Mhenni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mouloud Mhenni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Ibar having to interfere. Ismaël Zaaboub charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Antoine Fadela managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC FAMAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Antoine Fadela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mebarek Mami breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rachid Iles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Arnaldo Ibar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Rachid Iles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Day Heights FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rachid Iles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mebarek Mami prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Nelson Dufaud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaldo Ibar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mouloud Mhenni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nadir Djamel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Mebarek Mami tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Day Heights FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC FAMAS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
