Rachid Saïdi-Sief took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from El Boudjedra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Soltani in the 5th minute of play forced Pace FC's goalkeeper Alain Merzekane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rachid Saïdi-Sief showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Saïd-Guerni in the 7th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes Ogallala FC got a freekick which was hit by Redha Khelaifia. After 11 played minutes Mohamed Soltani rounded Pace FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Ogallala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fodil Bilal came free, but Rachid Saïdi-Sief reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pace FC's Alain Merzekane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Pace FC from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute Ahmed Saïd-Guerni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rachid Saïdi-Sief saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pace FC's zone, Brahim Aït Salem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alain Merzekane came out of the goal and Brahim Aït Salem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, El Boudjedra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Ahmed Saïd-Guerni made the kick off in the second half. Pace FC's Alain Merzekane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Soltani in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pace FC's Fodil Bilal got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 62nd minute Mohamed Soltani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alain Merzekane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alain Merzekane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Soltani in the 68th minute of play. Brahim Aït Salem blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alain Merzekane having to make a save. 71 minutes into the match, Mohamed Soltani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alain Merzekane. Pace FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mohamed Soltani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 85th match minute, Ogallala FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Madhi Oussalah to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by El Boudjedra in the 86th minute really tested Rachid Saïdi-Sief's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ahmed Saïd-Guerni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fodil Bilal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Rachid Saïdi-Sief made a huge save. A collision led to Ogallala FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Redha Khelaifia hit a great ball. El Boudjedra was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 92nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Pace FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
