Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Mourad Amirouche notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Onawa FC's Fawzi Larbi. Fawzi Larbi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hemza Cixous showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khair ad-Din Oussar, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute of the match Abdulhamid Benchenaa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fawzi Larbi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fawzi Larbi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mourad Amirouche in the 10th minute of play. Mourad Amirouche took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fawzi Larbi. Fawzi Larbi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The Newberg FC fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Newberg FC's Mourad Amirouche looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Newberg FC's zone, Salah Hemdani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hemza Cixous came out of the goal and Salah Hemdani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute Abdelhamid Zouba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fawzi Larbi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 32 minutes, Abdelhamid Zouba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newberg FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdelhamid Zouba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Onawa FC's zone, Mourad Amirouche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fawzi Larbi came out of the goal and Mourad Amirouche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fawzi Larbi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mourad Amirouche in the 38th minute of play. Khair ad-Din Oussar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hemza Cixous having to interfere. Khair ad-Din Oussar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Salah Hemdani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Khair ad-Din Oussar made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Newberg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hakim Mesbah to maneuver through the defense. Abdelhamid Zouba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute, Salah Hemdani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Salah Hemdani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdelhamid Zouba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fawzi Larbi having to make a save. A collision led to Onawa FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Mohamed Mansouri hit a great ball. Fawzi Larbi made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Abdelhamid Zouba sent off a good shot on target. Newberg FC's Hemza Cixous played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khair ad-Din Oussar in the 76th minute of play. Salah Hemdani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hemza Cixous having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Newberg FC's Redha Madouni got a free kick in the 86th minute. Khair ad-Din Oussar might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hemza Cixous. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Khair ad-Din Oussar ran back to his position shaking his head. Fawzi Larbi stood somewhat misplaced when Mourad Amirouche came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 91 minute. The Onawa FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Newberg FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Newberg FC.
