Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hakim Skif started the match with the kick off. Djabir Sellal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Matmour, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the game, Gilles Mansouri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Djabir Sellal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abdel Hamid Djebar kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Hakim Skif managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valley Stream FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hakim Skif was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rabah Mezdad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robert Matmour recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th match minute, Valley Stream FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohammad Kerbouche to maneuver through the defense. Huntersville AFC's Rabah Mezdad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hakim Skif in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hakim Skif in the 18th minute of play forced Huntersville AFC's goalkeeper Rabah Mezdad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Valley Stream FC's Said Mekhloufi got a free kick in the 19th minute. When Robert Matmour came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Huntersville AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Matmour couldn't finish the play. After 22 played minutes Huntersville AFC got a freekick which was hit by Djamal Ouyahia. Hakim Skif struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Rabah Mezdad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valley Stream FC. Rabah Mezdad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hakim Skif, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilles Mansouri in the 34th minute of play forced Valley Stream FC's goalkeeper Djabir Sellal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hakim Skif in the 38th minute of play forced Huntersville AFC's goalkeeper Rabah Mezdad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Said Mekhloufi kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Robert Matmour's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Djabir Sellal was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After having played for 58 minutes, Robert Matmour managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huntersville AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Matmour was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 60 minutes, Bouabdellah Toumi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huntersville AFC and the Valley Stream FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Hakim Skif had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Robert Matmour got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some careless play in the Valley Stream FC defense, Gilles Mansouri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Djabir Sellal. The Valley Stream FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Djabir Sellal should have stopped the shot. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Robert Matmour got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Gilles Mansouri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huntersville AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilles Mansouri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Djabir Sellal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilles Mansouris short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Djabir Sellal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Valley Stream FC's Said Mekhloufi got a free kick in the 79th minute. 81 minutes in the game, Robert Matmour fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Djabir Sellal having to interfere. Gilles Mansouri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 played minutes Valley Stream FC got a freekick which was hit by Mohammad Kerbouche. 85 minutes in the game, Robert Matmour dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Medjadi Ziani in the 88th minute of play forced Huntersville AFC's goalkeeper Rabah Mezdad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
