Ismael Kerkar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yacine Madjer having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The supporters of Hinton booed when Salt Lake City AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mouloud Boutabout didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Ismael Khendu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yacine Madjer was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Rachid Khadra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Safy Kourichi in the 58th minute of play. Mouloud Rimitti charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mouloud Rimitti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The tension between the Hinton and the Salt Lake City AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hinton fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! In the 78thth minute of the game Ahmed Radjef who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hinton's Rachid Khadra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ahmed Radjef fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Khadra having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Salt Lake City AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Khendu came free, but Yacine Madjer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Salt Lake City AFC's goalkeeper Yacine Madjer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ismael Kerkar. If Safy Kourichi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Hinton defense, Safy Kourichi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rachid Khadra. The Hinton fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rachid Khadra should have stopped the shot. 97 minutes into the game, Ismael Khendu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yacine Madjer. Ismael Khendu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1.
