But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sid Ahmed Djebar couldn't finish the play. Smail Hadjadj made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Hamid Boulmerka sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the match, Hamid Boulmerka dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Smail Hadjadj, 1-0. If Kassel Larfaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39thth minute of the game Kassel Larfaoui who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but North Falmouth's Abdelaziz Benflis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Smail Hadjadj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sid Ahmed Djebar in the 44th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Abdelaziz Benflis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of North Falmouth booed when Meyersdale AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nouara Touhami didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Kassel Larfaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meyersdale AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kassel Larfaoui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kassel Larfaoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Abdelaziz Benflis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kassel Larfaoui blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdelaziz Benflis having to make a save. In the 84th minute Boubekeur Sam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelaziz Benflis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Boubekeur Sam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
