In the 46th minute Hamid Belkheir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salah Chedda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 minutes of play, Willard AFC's Hamid Bahari made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Salah Chedda was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Cape Canaveral FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Willard AFC were winning 0-1.

Cape Canaveral FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Willard AFC the free kick. With a little luck, Cape Canaveral FC's Salah Chedda got control of the ball when Hamid Belkheir tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Willard AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmed Brahami came free, but Salah Khaled reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ali Badis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salah Khaled showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Badis, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Willard AFC played a much better game than Cape Canaveral FC and deserved their victory. The Cape Canaveral FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
