Kassel Horr who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Youssef Djamel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 4th minute by Rabah Amsallem got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Veneta booed when Hamburg AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tedj Ouyahia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Youssef Djamel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kassel Horr in the 17th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Djebar during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes Hamburg AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ali Djebar. A collision led to Hamburg AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ali Djebar hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the game, Mohamed Lamine Kab cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fadel Khaldi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kassel Horr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Youssef Djamel having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Rabah Amsallem recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Youssef Djamel. Rabah Amsallem showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. With a little luck, Veneta's Youssef Djamel got control of the ball when Kassel Horr tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hamburg AFC's Fadel Khaldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Lamine Kab in the 39th minute of play. Kassel Horr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute, Rabah Amsallem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rabah Amsallem was the one to do the kick off. The Hamburg AFC fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Hamburg AFC's Rabah Amsallem looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Djebar in the 58th minute of play forced Veneta's goalkeeper Youssef Djamel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Kassel Horr sped through Veneta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Youssef Djamel. After a rather tough play, Veneta's Maamar Kermali got a free kick in the 68th minute. Kassel Horr blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Youssef Djamel having to make a save. In the 75thth minute of the game Rabah Amsallem who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Veneta's Youssef Djamel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kassel Horr in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Youssef Djamel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes into the game, Rabah Mekhloufi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Veneta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hamburg AFC the free kick. After having played for 86 minutes, Rabah Amsallem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hamburg AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rabah Amsallem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Veneta's Youssef Djamel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rabah Amsallem in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Rabah Mekhloufi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mohammad Reda Madouni took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Youssef Djamel. Veneta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kassel Horr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Hamburg AFC's Fadel Khaldi got control of the ball when Mohamed Lamine Kab tried to sneak it across the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hamburg AFC fully deserved thier win.
