Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jean-Michel Besseghir kicked off to start the match. Mohammed Zaaboub might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mounir Adjaoud. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mohammed Zaaboub ran back to his position shaking his head. Mohammed Zaaboub sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rachid Hamid in the 9th minute of play forced Macclenny's goalkeeper Mounir Adjaoud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdelhani Mhenni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Maïssa Amri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maïssa Amri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Michel Besseghir, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Mounir Adjaoud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohammed Zaaboub in the 13th minute of the match. Jean-Michel Besseghir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 15 played minutes Piggott got a freekick which was hit by Said Mezdad. In the 19th minute, Abdelhani Mhenni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Macclenny's goal looked a bit too open when Mohammed Zaaboub came free, but Mounir Adjaoud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 played minutes Macclenny got a freekick which was hit by Fateh Laref. Macclenny's Mounir Adjaoud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohammed Zaaboub in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohammed Zaaboub in the 27th minute of play forced Macclenny's goalkeeper Mounir Adjaoud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Mohammed Zaaboub shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mounir Adjaoud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Macclenny's goal looked a bit too open when Rachid Hamid came free, but Mounir Adjaoud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Macclenny booed when Piggott was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Said Mezdad didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Piggott's Maïssa Amri got control of the ball when Abdelhani Mhenni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rachid Hamid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mounir Adjaoud having to interfere. Jean-Michel Besseghir ran back to his position shaking his head. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Rachid Hamid made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Piggott's Rachid Hamid got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Jean-Michel Besseghir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maïssa Amri having to interfere. Abdelhani Mhenni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mounir Adjaoud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rachid Hamid, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Piggott's Rachid Hamid in the 71st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Mounir Adjaoud was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Macclenny through an amazing save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rachid Hamid in the 73rd minute of play forced Macclenny's goalkeeper Mounir Adjaoud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Souad Fadela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jean-Michel Besseghir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rachid Hamid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Mounir Adjaoud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mounir Adjaoud made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Mohammed Zaaboub sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute, Mohammed Zaaboub made a precise shot to the right of Mounir Adjaoud. Macclenny's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The Macclenny fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Piggott were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
