The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cherryland AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mourad Lemoui 12 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After 17 minutes of play, Cherryland AFC's Mustapha Lemoui made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abderrahmane Chadl was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Mourad Lemoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute Leon Kouidri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abderrahmane Chadl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
