If Abderaouf Mansouri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bowleys Quarters's Toufik Zaoui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Bowleys Quarters from getting a goal against them. Mehdi Zeghdoud kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Elmira Heights FC's Halim Abdessalam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Assia Achiu in the 13th minute of play. After having played for 22 minutes, Assia Achiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bowleys Quarters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Assia Achiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Halim Abdessalam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Assia Achiu in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Abd al-Aziz Cherfa notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Bowleys Quarters's Toufik Zaoui. Toufik Zaoui was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Assia Achiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Halim Abdessalam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Abderaouf Mansouri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elmira Heights FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abderaouf Mansouri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Assia Achiu in the 40th minute of play forced Elmira Heights FC's goalkeeper Halim Abdessalam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elmira Heights FC's Halim Abdessalam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehdi Zeghdoud in the 41st minute of play. Mehdi Zeghdoud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halim Abdessalam having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abderaouf Mansouri to make the kick off. Ismaël Allalou hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute Abd al-Aziz Cherfa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toufik Zaoui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mehdi Zeghdoud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Mehdi Zeghdoud managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bowleys Quarters's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehdi Zeghdoud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Halim Abdessalam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th match minute, Elmira Heights FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tedj Bezzaz to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Elmira Heights FC's goalkeeper Halim Abdessalam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mehdi Zeghdoud. In the 72ndth minute of the game Mehdi Zeghdoud who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elmira Heights FC's Halim Abdessalam was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehdi Zeghdoud in the 74th minute of play forced Elmira Heights FC's goalkeeper Halim Abdessalam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Halim Abdessalam made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Assia Achiu sent off a good shot on target. Mehdi Zeghdoud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Halim Abdessalam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Mustapha Madouni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mehdi Zeghdoud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Assia Achiu struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Halim Abdessalam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bowleys Quarters. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mehdi Zeghdoud got free with Halim Abdessalam in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Many of Bowleys Quarters's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Bowleys Quarters may have spent more time on the ball, but Elmira Heights FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
