Knodi Labi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Hameur Mammeri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noureddine Kouidri in the 21st minute of play forced University FC's goalkeeper Hameur Mammeri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ben Ramdani's late challenge caught a Munster FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ben Ramdani helped the player get up and apologised. Ben Ramdani hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. A collision led to Munster FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Mahieddine Larbi hit a great ball. If Knodi Labi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yazid Camus was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Kateb Lacen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kateb Lacen really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After a rather tough play, University FC's Ben Ramdani got a free kick in the 44th minute. Munster FC were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after University FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hamza Mammeri took the corner. After taking down the ball on Munster FC's corner Abderrachid Labi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hameur Mammeri quite easily take care of the ball. Abderrachid Labi scored 1-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hameur Mammeri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Munster FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Knodi Labi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to University FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Amar Brahami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kateb Lacen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amar Brahami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yazid Camus having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noureddine Kouidri got free with Hameur Mammeri in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
