Nabil Haddadj didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alfred FC. In the 17th minute, Gilles Daham sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Blasdell's Nabil Haddadj didn't even have to move. Alfred FC's Souad Belloumi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehdi Zouba in the 19th minute of play. Yacine Cherrad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nabil Haddadj having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Fouad Nabil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blasdell's supporters rose to their feet, but Fouad Nabil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Souad Belloumi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Fouad Nabil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Souad Belloumi was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. If Mehdi Zouba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blasdell's supporters rose to their feet, but Fouad Nabil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Souad Belloumi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Souad Belloumi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehdi Zouba, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yacine Cherrad to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Alfred FC's goalkeeper Souad Belloumi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 58th minute, one of Blasdell:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Blasdell. Blasdell:s Nabil Haddadj showed great skill when he stopped Gilles Daham:s penalty. Nabil Haddadj didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilles Daham went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Mehdi Zouba in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Souad Belloumi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nabil Haddadj stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kamel Bahari's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. When Gilles Daham fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alfred FC's protests and gave Gilles Daham a yellow card for diving instead. Gilles Daham kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Blasdell's Souad Belloumi threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fouad Nabil, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 94th minute of the match Gilles Daham sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nabil Haddadj skillfully saved the ball. Nabil Haddadj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yacine Cherrad in the 98th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Alfred FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Blasdell had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
