Indian Harbour Beach

Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tayeb Feraoun kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Walpole getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Hocine Cohen-Tannoudji hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the match, Indian Harbour Beach's goal looked a bit too open when Cheikha Merbah came free, but Ahmed Lacen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 5 played minutes Indian Harbour Beach got a freekick which was hit by René Matoub. After 10 minutes of play, Walpole's Tayeb Feraoun made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmed Lacen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 15th minute Tayeb Feraoun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmed Lacen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nasreddine Saadane hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Kermali in the 23rd minute of play forced Walpole's goalkeeper Ferhat Kerbouche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes, Safy Bourebbou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Indian Harbour Beach and the Walpole players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Tayeb Feraoun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Walpole's supporters rose to their feet, but Tayeb Feraoun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmed Lacen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Djamel Meniri lost his temper 34 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 33 minutes into the game, one of Walpole:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Ferhat Kerbouche, was totally fooled by Indian Harbour Beach's Abdelkader Benchenaa, who 36 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Hocine Cohen-Tannoudji hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Ferhat Kerbouche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Kermali, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Cheikha Merbah blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmed Lacen having to make a save. In the 45th minute Cheikha Merbah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmed Lacen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Cheikha Merbah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 47 minutes, Mohamed Abrika mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Indian Harbour Beach and the Walpole players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mohamed Abrika kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.
When Ali Kermali came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Indian Harbour Beach fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Kermali couldn't finish the play. A hard and well directed shot from Abdelkader Benchenaa led 66 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Walpole's Ferhat Kerbouche became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 2-1. The audience was convinced that Rafik Bezzaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferhat Kerbouche was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. After 72 played minutes Walpole got a freekick which was hit by Mustapha Djamel. In the 76th minute, Ali Kermali got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ali Kermali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferhat Kerbouche having to interfere. Ferhat Kerbouche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafik Bezzaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Walpole's Cheikha Merbah got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ali Kermali recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafik Bezzaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Walpole's Fawzi Bahari got a free kick in the 97th minute. Walpole's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
