Boubekeur Benarbia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boubekeur Benarbia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Abdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12thth minute of the game Mohamed Abdi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kodiak's Boubekeur Benarbia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Noureddine Menad kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Youssef Bencheikh sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Fawzi Bensaïd threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Youssef Bencheikh this time. With his leg Fawzi Bensaïd managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Kodiak's Hamid Mehenni fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Mohamed Abdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, North Spearfish's Rachid Sadaoui got a free kick in the 20th minute. If Mohamed Boukensa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 30th minute, Mohamed Boukensa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abdelmalek Mamouni made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Hamid Mehenni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fawzi Bensaïd. North Spearfish's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hamid Mehenni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Abdi in the 69th minute of play forced Kodiak's goalkeeper Boubekeur Benarbia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Abdelmalek Mamouni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
