The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hamid Hamdani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amar Bentaala having to interfere. When Hamid Hamdani came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Waunakee AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamid Hamdani couldn't finish the play. If Boughera Mezdad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamid Hamdani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amar Bentaala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boughera Mezdad in the 33rd minute of play. Anthar Abrika struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Fateh Bella didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for South Venice FC. If Abdelhamid Aziz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Anthar Abrika managed to get in a good position for a shot. South Venice FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anthar Abrika was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fateh Bella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Waunakee AFC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ahmed Yahi hit a great ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Anthar Abrika managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South Venice FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthar Abrika was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th match minute, Waunakee AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tedj Ulansi to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Fateh Bella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthar Abrika, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute Boughera Mezdad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amar Bentaala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Waunakee AFC's Abderraouf Hamrouche got a free kick in the 56th minute. If Abdelhamid Aziz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Waunakee AFC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ahmed Yahi hit a great ball. After 61 played minutes, South Venice FC's Yacine Derrida shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fateh Bella came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in South Venice FC reached it. In the 64th minute Boughera Mezdad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amar Bentaala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When South Venice FC's Abdelhamid Aziz in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Waunakee AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Waunakee AFC's Fateh Bella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelhamid Aziz in the 67th minute of play. Mohammad Kaci Dahleb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anthar Abrika received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Fateh Bella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohammad Kaci Dahleb in the 75th minute of play forced Waunakee AFC's goalkeeper Fateh Bella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamid Hamdani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amar Bentaala read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Hamid Hamdani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anthar Abrika received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Fateh Bella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Waunakee AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
