The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice moves Mahmoud Achiou could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Albert Yahia however easily saved by the left post. In the 8th minute, Cheb Zidane fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ben Diss charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ben Diss the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Fanwood AFC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Faouzi Hima hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bouabdellah Baroudi in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Brahami saved Garden View from getting behind. A collision led to Fanwood AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Hocine Bensaïd hit a great ball. Garden View's Fouad Ben Khalidi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 21st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Albert Yahia but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in Garden View's zone, Bouabdellah Baroudi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Brahami came out of the goal and Bouabdellah Baroudi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bouabdellah Baroudi in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Brahami prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Fanwood AFC booed when Garden View was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salah Zeghdoud didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bouabdellah Baroudi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Brahami having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bouabdellah Baroudi in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cheb Zidane made a kick off. Fanwood AFC's Bouabdellah Baroudi got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Mohammed Aboulker put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ismael Brahami. After 61 minutes, Ali Medjani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fanwood AFC and the Garden View players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ali Medjani hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Fouad Ben Khalidi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albert Yahia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The corner led Garden View's Fouad Ben Khalidi to fire away a dangerous shot which Albert Yahia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Garden View were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Fanwood AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fouad Ben Khalidi took the corner. Cheb Zidane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the game, Bouabdellah Baroudi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fanwood AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garden View the free kick. After a rather tough play, Fanwood AFC's Bouabdellah Baroudi got a free kick in the 75th minute. Albert Yahia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cheb Zidane, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Albert Yahia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cheb Zidane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cheb Zidane came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Garden View fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cheb Zidane couldn't finish the play. The Garden View supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Fanwood AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Fanwood AFC.
