Kamel Adjani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Smail Makkeb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdelaziz Brahimi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nadir Ramdani lost his temper 18 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Redwood Falls a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cheb Ramdani, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Valdez's Sid Djebar. 1-1. Salah Zarabi charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lili Cerbah made a kick off. With a little luck, Valdez's Sid Djebar got control of the ball when Abdelaziz Brahimi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Salah Zarabi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Smail Makkeb. Redwood Falls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Salah Zarabi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Valdez's goalkeeper Sid Djebar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 66 minutes in the game, Lili Cerbah dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Lili Cerbah struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Smail Makkeb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valdez. Redwood Falls's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
