After a defensive mix-up in Stroud FC's zone, Abdelkader Hadj Aïssa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sofiane Zarabi came out of the goal and Abdelkader Hadj Aïssa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mamaar Bouzid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelkader Hadj Aïssa in the 11th minute of play forced Stroud FC's goalkeeper Sofiane Zarabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 minutes, Salim Abbas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stroud FC and the Big Bear City AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Stroud FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Salim Abbas hit a great ball. Stroud FC's Rafik Hamdani got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. During the 17th minute of the match Salim Abbas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Salim Abbas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 17th minute, Salim Abbas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Smail Sofiane struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Abdelaziz Moll didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stroud FC. Abdelaziz Moll made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Smail Sofiane sent off a good shot on target. After 24 played minutes Stroud FC got a freekick which was hit by Ahmed Aribi. Smail Sofiane could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Abdelaziz Moll made a huge save. In the 35th minute, Antoine Fellahi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boughera Zaaf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Abdelaziz Moll tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdelkader Hadj Aïssa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sofiane Zarabi having to interfere. If Ahmed Aribi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abdelkader Hadj Aïssa to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Smail Sofiane's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdelaziz Moll was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. 59 minutes into the match, Big Bear City AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Smail Sofiane came free, but Abdelaziz Moll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdelaziz Moll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Smail Sofiane in the 90th minute of play. Kateb Timsit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
