Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mamaar Bouzid started the match with the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Abdelkader Hadj Aïssa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 6 minutes into the game, Mustapha Cohen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mexia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Big Bear City AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Mexia FC's Mustapha Cohen got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 9th minute, Mamaar Bouzid left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Big Bear City AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Mexia FC's goalkeeper Faouzi Dahleb had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdelkader Hadj Aïssa. Abdelkader Hadj Aïssa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faouzi Dahleb having to interfere. Abdelkader Hadj Aïssa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Faouzi Dahleb made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mamaar Bouzid in the 28th minute of play forced Mexia FC's goalkeeper Faouzi Dahleb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 played minutes Mexia FC got a freekick which was hit by Farès Said. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Djamel Zarabi during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Djamel Zarabi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rachid Madjer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Big Bear City AFC's Abdelaziz Moll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rachid Madjer in the 36th minute of play. If Mamaar Bouzid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdelkader Hadj Aïssa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Faouzi Dahleb made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Abdelkader Hadj Aïssa sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute Mamaar Bouzid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faouzi Dahleb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mohamed Kafi to strike the kick off in the second half. Rachid Madjer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Abdelaziz Moll made a huge save. If Rachid Madjer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 minutes, Abdelmalek Kourichi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Big Bear City AFC and the Mexia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Big Bear City AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelmalek Kourichi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Rachid Madjer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mohamed Kafi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelaziz Moll having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rabah Hadj Aïssa during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Faouzi Dahleb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mamaar Bouzid in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of Big Bear City AFC booed when Mexia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Madjid Maroc didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Chadli Kaci Said came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Big Bear City AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chadli Kaci Said couldn't finish the play. Mamaar Bouzid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Faouzi Dahleb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mamaar Bouzid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mexia FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
