Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mexia FC's Mohamed Kafi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mohamed Bouguerra kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Mohammad Zitouni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Mexia FC's zone, Kamel Maroc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faouzi Dahleb came out of the goal and Kamel Maroc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rachid Madjer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Faouzi Dahleb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafik Hamdani in the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Mexia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Smail Sofiane came free, but Faouzi Dahleb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Smail Sofiane managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stroud FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Smail Sofiane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faouzi Dahleb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rachid Madjer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Sofiane Zarabi made a huge save. Rachid Madjer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Sofiane Zarabi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Mohamed Kafi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohamed Kafi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sofiane Zarabi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Mexia FC's zone, Boughera Zaaf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faouzi Dahleb came out of the goal and Boughera Zaaf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rafik Hamdani scored 0-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Faouzi Dahleb, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41stth minute of the game Smail Sofiane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexia FC's Faouzi Dahleb was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mexia FC's Mohamed Kafi got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Stroud FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Mohamed Kafi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sofiane Zarabi having to interfere. Rachid Madjer struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Sofiane Zarabi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexia FC. The supporters of Stroud FC booed when Mexia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamed Ouadah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faouzi Dahleb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafik Hamdani in the 64th minute of play. Smail Sofiane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafik Hamdani in the 67th minute of play forced Mexia FC's goalkeeper Faouzi Dahleb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Stroud FC's Rafik Hamdani in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexia FC's goalie prevented a goal. Smail Sofianes short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Faouzi Dahleb to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 79th minute, Mexia FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Smail Sofiane fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Faouzi Dahleb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafik Hamdani, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Mexia FC's Faouzi Dahleb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafik Hamdani in the 90th minute of play. If Rafik Hamdani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Stroud FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Stroud FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
