Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thelma Aziz in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maïssa Madjer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute, Noureddine Zerguelaine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ponte Pereiro FC's Cheb Megharia got a free kick in the 31st minute. Noureddine Zerguelaine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Encinitas FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ponte Pereiro FC fully deserved thier win.
