Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mohamed Kerbouche kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the match, Cheb Zaoui had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hamza Gaouaoui. West Athens AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cheb Zaoui was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Abdel Yahi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 21st minute of the match, Djamal Saadane got a very nice opportunity to score, but Faouzi Saïd-Guerni was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Abdel Yahi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdel Yahi in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faouzi Saïd-Guerni saved Charles Town AFC from getting behind. In the 27th minute Cheb Zaoui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamza Gaouaoui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamza Gaouaoui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cheb Zaoui, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Mohamed Kerbouche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Hamza Gaouaoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Charles Town AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Abdel Yahi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 38th minute, Abdel Yahi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Faouzi Saïd-Guerni, passed just outside the right post. Faouzi Saïd-Guerni was a little too slow when Madhi Zerara got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 1-1. Charles Town AFC's Faouzi Saïd-Guerni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdel Yahi in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abdel Yahi to strike the kick off in the second half. Hocine Guendouz hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Faouzi Saïd-Guerni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Djamal Saadane in the 55th minute of the match. If Djamal Saadane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. West Athens AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Charles Town AFC the free kick. A collision led to West Athens AFC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Madhi Zerara hit a great ball. West Athens AFC's Madhi Zerara got his second yellow card of the match in the 62nd minute. The referee ordered Madhi Zerara off the ground. After 63 played minutes West Athens AFC got a freekick which was hit by Madhi Zerara. With a little luck, West Athens AFC's Hamza Gaouaoui got control of the ball when Cheb Zaoui tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Djamal Saadane in the 67th minute of play forced Charles Town AFC's goalkeeper Faouzi Saïd-Guerni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Djamal Saadane's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faouzi Saïd-Guerni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Mohamed Boulebda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faouzi Saïd-Guerni having to interfere. Charles Town AFC's Faouzi Saïd-Guerni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Djamal Saadane in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, West Athens AFC's goalkeeper Hamza Gaouaoui had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cheb Zaoui. Djamal Saadane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Faouzi Saïd-Guerni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Charles Town AFC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Hocine Belaout hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Djamal Saadane left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The West Athens AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Djamal Saadane managed to get in a good position for a shot. West Athens AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Djamal Saadane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faouzi Saïd-Guerni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. West Athens AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
