Faouzi Saïd-Guerni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamid Bezzaz in the 30th minute of the match. Fodil Sadmi's late challenge caught a Charles Town AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fodil Sadmi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute, Fodil Sadmi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute Mohammed Maillot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faouzi Saïd-Guerni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamid Bezzaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Faouzi Saïd-Guerni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Cheb Zaoui struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Dida Louahla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Charles Town AFC. Mohammed Maillot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hamid Bezzaz in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Faouzi Saïd-Guerni, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Park Layne's Hamid Bezzaz got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hamid Bezzaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Faouzi Saïd-Guerni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cheb Zaoui came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Charles Town AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cheb Zaoui couldn't finish the play. If Mohamed Kerbouche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dida Louahla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mohamed Kerbouche's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Park Layne had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
