Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 6 minutes into the game, Abdelmalek Bridji recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hakim Ahmed. Abdelmalek Bridji showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Leon Ighil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Anther Khelaifia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anther Khelaifia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leon Ighil's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Leon Ighil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anther Khelaifia having to interfere. If Leon Ighil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cheb Kouidri charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cheb Kouidri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nasser Macias shot the penalty kick right outside the post. If Gilles Zeghdoud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdelmalek Bridji struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Hakim Ahmed didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morganton. Abdelmalek Bridji sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Tifton's Hakim Ahmed got control of the ball when Abdelmalek Bridji tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute, Rabah Soltani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Morganton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Bouzid Hamdoud managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anther Khelaifia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bouzid Hamdoud was the one to do the kick off. Hakim Ahmed showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelmalek Bridji in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute Gilles Zeghdoud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hakim Ahmed saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Morganton's attack was well implemented in the 63rd minute, but when Gilles Zeghdoud was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. When Gilles Zeghdoud came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Morganton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilles Zeghdoud couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelmalek Bridji in the 71st minute of play forced Tifton's goalkeeper Hakim Ahmed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Gilles Zeghdoud notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Tifton's Hakim Ahmed. Hakim Ahmed was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 76th minute, Tifton's Bouzid Hamdoud dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Abdelmalek Bridji fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hakim Ahmed having to interfere. Morganton's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
