Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gilles Zeghdoud started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gilles Zeghdoud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Kader Otman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Morganton getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Amar Lamine hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the game, Mesquite's Ahmed Megharia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anther Khelaifia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Kader Otman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilles Zeghdoud in the 13th minute of the match. If Ahmed Megharia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilles Zeghdoud in the 18th minute of play forced Mesquite's goalkeeper Kader Otman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kader Otman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelmalek Bridji, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Ahmed Megharia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Anther Khelaifia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mesquite's zone, Gilles Zeghdoud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kader Otman came out of the goal and Gilles Zeghdoud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdelmalek Bridji took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kader Otman. Kader Otman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Abdelmalek Bridji had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cheb Sam kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Abdelmalek Bridji sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abd al-Asis Ulansi was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Gilles Zeghdoud fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kader Otman, passed just outside the right post. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Abdelmalek Bridji put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Kader Otman. The audience was convinced that Gilles Zeghdoud's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kader Otman was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Kader Otman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salim Matmour in the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amar Lamine in the 69th minute of play forced Mesquite's goalkeeper Kader Otman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anther Khelaifia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Megharia in the 72nd minute of the match. Abdelmalek Bridji struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Kader Otman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morganton. Kader Otman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilles Zeghdoud in the 80th minute of play. After 82 minutes, Cheb Sam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mesquite and the Morganton players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mesquite getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Cheb Sam hit a great ball. Abdelmalek Bridji in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kader Otman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kader Otman was a little too slow when Abdelmalek Bridji got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 1-3. Amar Lamine's late challenge caught a Mesquite's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amar Lamine helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes Morganton got a freekick which was hit by Amar Lamine. After a rather tough play, Mesquite's Yazid Fergani got a free kick in the 94th minute.
