The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abdelhamid Ouyahia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilles Louahla, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. When Mourad Zidane came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Naperville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mourad Zidane couldn't finish the play. After 10 minutes of play, Naperville's Abdelhani Kourichi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zoheir Maroc was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Rzxlj booed when Naperville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zaaf didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Abdelhani Kourichi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Naperville's Mourad Zidane got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zoheir Maroc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mourad Zidane, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Rzxlj's Zoheir Maroc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mourad Zidane in the 29th minute of play. Gilles Louahla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 41 played minutes Naperville got a freekick which was hit by Benamar Chaouchi. Mourad Zidane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Zoheir Maroc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mourad Zidane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Naperville were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdelhani Kourichi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mourad Zidane struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Zoheir Maroc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Naperville. Mourad Zidane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zoheir Maroc having to interfere. A collision led to Rzxlj getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Adlène El-Hadi hit a great ball. Mourad Zidane in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zoheir Maroc, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 69th match minute, Rzxlj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mimoun Ouid Boulmerka to maneuver through the defense. Zoheir Maroc made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Mourad Zidane sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zaaf got his second yellow card in the match during the 74th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Mourad Zidane struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mimoun Ouid Boulmerka couldn't finish the play. After 86 played minutes Naperville got a freekick which was hit by Abdelhani Kourichi. Naperville's Abdelhamid Ouyahia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilles Louahla in the 89th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilles Louahla in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdelhamid Ouyahia saved Naperville from getting behind. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Naperville eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
