Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ahmed Moussaoui got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmed Moussaoui in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Said Mammeri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to St. Peters FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Rachid Heddou hit a great ball. Abderraouf Heddou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamid Timsit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamid Timsit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abderraouf Heddou having to interfere. After having played for 16 minutes, Cherif Malek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Detroit AF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cherif Malek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdelaziz Mhenni got free with Said Mammeri in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ahmed Moussaoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Said Mammeri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Said Mammeri made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Abdelaziz Mhenni sent off a good shot on target. Abdelaziz Mhenni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The long shot by Mohammed Ahmed Chedda in the 40th minute really tested Said Mammeri's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 43rd minute, Ahmed Moussaoui reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Said Mammeri. The goal made the score 1-0. Said Mammeri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmed Moussaoui's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Djamel Bouguerra made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hamid Timsit got free with Abderraouf Heddou in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abdelaziz Mhenni struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Said Mammeri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for St. Peters FC. Ismaël Fanon shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Abderraouf Heddou came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Detroit AF's Hamid Timsit. But to his dismay, Hamid Timsit quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Abdelaziz Mhenni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Said Mammeri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Detroit AF's Said Mammeri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelaziz Mhenni in the 88th minute of play. St. Peters FC's Abdelaziz Mhenni got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. St. Peters FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
