Rachid Fanon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hocine Touhami in the 6th minute of the match. Hocine Touhami struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Rachid Fanon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Selmer. 18 minutes into the match, Selmer's goalkeeper René Laura Douibi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Assia Kraouche. Abdelmalek Maroc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Tequesta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tedj Benhamou came free, but Rachid Fanon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hocine Touhami received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Rachid Fanon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tedj Benhamou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Fanon having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Tequesta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tedj Benhamou came free, but Rachid Fanon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Tedj Benhamou had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rachid Fanon. Tequesta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tedj Benhamou was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Rachid Fanon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hocine Touhami, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hocine Touhami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Fanon having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdelmalek Maroc stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frantz Brahami's late challenge caught a Selmer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frantz Brahami helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th match minute, Tequesta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frantz Brahami to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the game, Hocine Touhami cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Rachid Fanon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Tedj Benhamou came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Selmer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tedj Benhamou couldn't finish the play. Hocine Touhami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rachid Fanon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tedj Benhamou, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Tequesta FC's Rachid Fanon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Tequesta FC from getting a goal against them. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tequesta FC's goalkeeper Rachid Fanon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Selmer's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
