Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Floral City's Abd al-Aziz Boulebda started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abd al-Aziz Boulebda might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karim Mansouri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abd al-Aziz Boulebda ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute Abd al-Aziz Boulebda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karim Mansouri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The nice shot from Toufik Bourebbou in the 14thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Karim Mansouri had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. When Rabah Medjiba came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Danbury fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rabah Medjiba couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute Abd al-Aziz Boulebda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karim Mansouri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 21 minutes, Lazhar Chebal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Danbury's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lazhar Chebal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rabah Medjiba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without François Larbes having to interfere. Karim Mansouri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toufik Bourebbou in the 25th minute. Rabah Medjiba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lazhar Chebal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without François Larbes having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Rabah Medjiba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but François Larbes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lazhar Chebal to make the kick off. Floral City's François Larbes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Floral City from getting a goal against them. When Floral City's Toufik Bourebbou in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Danbury's goalie prevented a goal. In the 60th minute Lazhar Chebal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but François Larbes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. François Larbes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lazhar Chebal's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Toufik Bourebbou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 played minutes Floral City got a freekick which was hit by El Cohen. If Rabah Medjiba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rabah Medjiba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lazhar Chebal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Danbury could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Floral City throughout the match.
