Fawzi Kheyari charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fawzi Kheyari the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd match minute, Northwoods was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fawzi Kheyari to maneuver through the defense. Karim Said sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karim Said's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Noureddine Besseghir read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Youssef Piaf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bonne Terre AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Youssef Piaf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noureddine Besseghir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the match, Youssef Piaf dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Noureddine Besseghir, 1-0. Mustapha Mehenni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chih Zidān read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Bonne Terre AFC's Chih Zidān played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kateb Camus in the 18th minute of play. Youssef Piaf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Noureddine Besseghir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Northwoods's Noureddine Besseghir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Said in the 23rd minute of play. Noureddine Besseghir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karim Said, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bonne Terre AFC's Karim Said in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Noureddine Besseghir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karim Said in the 33rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Youssef Piaf got free with Noureddine Besseghir in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mustapha Mehenni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chih Zidān made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustapha Mehenni in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Northwoods was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismaël Belhagj to maneuver through the defense. Mustapha Mehenni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chih Zidān having to interfere. Noureddine Besseghir acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 46th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Belmadi Menad. A collision led to Northwoods getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ismaël Belhagj hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kateb Camus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fawzi Kheyari got his second yellow card in the match during the 63rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Bonne Terre AFC booed when Northwoods was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fawzi Kheyari didn't get a good kick on the ball. Noureddine Besseghir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Youssef Piaf, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Said in the 70th minute of play forced Northwoods's goalkeeper Noureddine Besseghir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Northwoods's zone, Youssef Piaf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noureddine Besseghir came out of the goal and Youssef Piaf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Karim Said managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bonne Terre AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karim Said was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 73 played minutes Northwoods got a freekick which was hit by Fadhil Drid. After a rather tough play, Northwoods's Kateb Camus got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute of the match Fadel Saïd-Guerni shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Noureddine Besseghir showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mustapha Mehennis short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Chih Zidān to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karim Said in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Noureddine Besseghir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bonne Terre AFC's Chih Zidān proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Bonne Terre AFC from getting a goal against them. When Karim Said came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Bonne Terre AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karim Said couldn't finish the play. If Youssef Piaf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismaël Belhagj hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The attack was good, but when Karim Said in the 94th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Noureddine Besseghir stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Youssef Piaf's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Northwoods players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bonne Terre AFC.
