An unexpectedly hard shot by Boughera Khabatou in the 7th minute of play forced Newburgh FC's goalkeeper Ali Boudjedra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kader Ahmed in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Boudjedra saved Newburgh FC from getting behind. In the 12th minute Boughera Khabatou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Boudjedra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kader Ahmed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anther Aggoune received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Boughera Diss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 22 minutes, René Yahia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newburgh FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but René Yahia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Bentonville's goalkeeper Boughera Diss had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by René Yahia. In the 26th minute, Kader Ahmed got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 28 played minutes Newburgh FC got a freekick which was hit by Tayeb Djebar. In the 29th minute, Cheikha Ighil sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Newburgh FC's Ali Boudjedra didn't even have to move. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Boughera Diss successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 38th minute, Cheb Chebal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Mohammad Kaci Mimoun in the 39th minute really tested Boughera Diss's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Boughera Khabatou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Boudjedra having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Boughera Khabatou made a kick off. Boughera Diss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from René Yahia in the 54th minute of the match. Mohammad Kaci Mimoun charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mohammad Kaci Mimoun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cheb Chebal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ali Boudjedra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by René Yahia in the 66th minute of play forced Bentonville's goalkeeper Boughera Diss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Newburgh FC's Ali Boudjedra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boughera Khabatou in the 71st minute of play. Boughera Diss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anther Aggoune in the 73rd minute of play. Kader Ahmed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Boudjedra came out of the goal and Ahmed Yahi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Kader Ahmed ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ali Boudjedra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.
