The Fort McClellan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 44th minute, Mohammed Fillali got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Noureddine Mihoubi was the one to do the kick off. If Assia Azem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Noureddine Mihoubi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Lino Lakes's goalkeeper Rachid Nasro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mohammed Fillali. In the 72nd minute, Ahmed Fergani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute of the match Ali Benhabiles sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmed Ben Khalidi skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Fort McClellan getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Rabah Hanister hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmed Bensaïd in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rachid Nasro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Fort McClellan's zone, Assia Azem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmed Ben Khalidi came out of the goal and Assia Azem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Lino Lakes getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Mohamed Hanister hit a great ball. Mohammed Fillali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Rachid Nasro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmed Bensaïd blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rachid Nasro having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmed Bensaïd in the 97th minute of play forced Lino Lakes's goalkeeper Rachid Nasro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Fort McClellan supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fort McClellan would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
