After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Karim Kafi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lino Lakes's supporters rose to their feet, but Karim Kafi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salah Saïd-Guerni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmond Bouteflika in the 12th minute of play forced Lino Lakes's goalkeeper Rachid Nasro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Lino Lakes's Mimoun Ouid Zeghdoud got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Lino Lakes's goalkeeper Rachid Nasro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Edison's goalkeeper Salah Saïd-Guerni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ali Benhabiles was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Assia Azem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salah Saïd-Guerni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noureddine Mihoubi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Smail Kouici made a precise shot to the right of Rachid Nasro. Lino Lakes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Edison's Salah Saïd-Guerni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mimoun Ouid Zeghdoud in the 40th minute of play. Assia Azem struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Salah Saïd-Guerni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lino Lakes. Edison's Salah Saïd-Guerni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noureddine Mihoubi in the 44th minute of play. If Smail Kouici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Rachid Nasro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmond Bouteflika in the 53rd minute of the match. Salah Saïd-Guerni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noureddine Mihoubi, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Nadir Fanon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Edison's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lino Lakes the free kick. The supporters of Lino Lakes booed when Edison was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nadir Fanon didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Assia Azem came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Lino Lakes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Assia Azem couldn't finish the play. Rachid Nasro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Smail Kouici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rachid Nasro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmond Bouteflika's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Rachid Nasro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Smail Kouici in the 74th minute of play. Rachid Nasro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nadir Fanon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karim Kafi charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karim Kafi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Lino Lakes getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Karim Kafi hit a great ball. Smail Kouici might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rachid Nasro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Smail Kouici ran back to his position shaking his head. Assia Azem's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Salah Saïd-Guerni skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Edison booed when Lino Lakes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mimoun Ouid Zeghdoud didn't get a good kick on the ball. Smail Kouici recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Smail Kouici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Nasro having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lino Lakes walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
