After 4 played minutes, Cisco FC's Karim Maroc shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mohamed Mimoun came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cisco FC reached it. The supporters of Cisco FC booed when Staunton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mimoun Diafat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmed Brahami might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mohamed Mimoun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmed Brahami ran back to his position shaking his head. The goalkeeper, François Bendjedid, was totally fooled by Staunton's Ahmed Ouyahia, who 10 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ahmed Brahami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismaël Medjiba charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismaël Medjiba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 26 played minutes Cisco FC got a freekick which was hit by Ismaël Medjiba. A collision led to Staunton getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Mimoun Diafat hit a great ball. Ahmed Brahami received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Mohamed Mimoun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Mimoun Diafat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but François Bendjedid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th match minute, Cisco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dida Sadmi to maneuver through the defense. François Bendjedid stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mimoun Diafat's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mimoun Diafat to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Mimoun Diafat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. François Bendjedid was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Mohamed Benyamina took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised François Bendjedid. François Bendjedid dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Staunton's Mohamed Mimoun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Staunton from getting a goal against them. Mimoun Diafat took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised François Bendjedid. François Bendjedid dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Ahmed Brahami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Mimoun having to interfere. In the 75th minute Toufik Boukensa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Mimoun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute Mimoun Diafat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but François Bendjedid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Staunton getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Abdelhamid Aït Salem hit a great ball. Mimoun Diafat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without François Bendjedid having to interfere. In the 86thth minute of the game Mimoun Diafat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cisco FC's François Bendjedid was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Mimoun Diafat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Staunton's supporters rose to their feet, but Mimoun Diafat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. François Bendjedid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mimoun Diafat in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg François Bendjedid saved Cisco FC from getting behind. Ahmed Brahami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Mimoun having to interfere. Staunton's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
