Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jussef Ben Assad to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Watertown AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jussef Ben Assad came free, but Abdelhamid Larfaoui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Sugarcreek FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Soltani Mimoun should have stopped the shot. The attack was good, but when Karim Heddou in the 97th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 99thth minute of the game Karim Heddou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sugarcreek FC's Soltani Mimoun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Watertown AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
